redditor debunker nut job now could I mean the thing is this was sophisticated man this this was really sophisticated they did not expect us to crack in to this that quickly and then they freaked out capacitance we made have may have talked about the energy density because we were talking about how a fully charged capacitor stores energy and in that situation energy is stored in the magnetic in the elect boring and so for our electromagnetic wave is sheing backward we have both energy stored in the electric field and in the magnetic field right now I'm going to present it in terms of energy density um the energy stored in the electric field can be written as one half Epsilon KN times e^2 and then the energy stored in the magnetic field can be expressed as 1 half over she is writing backwards that's wild she's writing backwards ladies got skills 1 over 2 m b^2 so as I mentioned we did talk about this I feel I have to focus density in a previous chapter I don't think we talked about the energy stored in a magnetic field if we use the relationship that is true for electromagnetic waves that the ratio of the electric field and the magnetic field are equal to the speed of light we could actually rearrange this and substitute into this expression in order to find out how we would Express the energy density in solely the magnetic field and we would get this term so in any case that sort of gives a little bit of background for what the pointing Vector is um but the she got a big ring on the relevant information is the idea that as these waves they're carrying energy with them and that energy is stored in those fields that actually the waves are the waves consist of those fields now we come up with this Vector called the pointing vector poting vector and the pointing Vector is i' like to describe it as a flux um and I but not like not as much like magnetic flocks but guys it's bugging me out that I can't tell if she just flipped the video or what is she
