Definition
A two-layer ceramic superconductor: one layer of YBCO in the superconducting state at low temperature, fused to a composition-matched upper layer that is a normal conductor at the same temperature. The interface between the layers is the geometric feature distinctive to Podkletnov's 1997 protocol.
