How Rotation Stabilizes Fusion Reactors

This video explains how rotation stabilizes fusion reactors using field reverse configuration. FRC creates its own magnetic field holding itself together making internal plasma pressure the magnetic pressure eliminating need for strong external magnets. The 50-year-old fatal flaw was tilt instability solved using neutral beams as a gyroscope to spin plasma like a top. In April 2025 they published a Nature Communications paper showing they eliminated the 100 gigawatt theta pinch starter creating FRC just with neutral beam injectors. Stabilities thousands of times higher than predicted suggest tapping into zero point energy. The machine performed better with 50 percent cost reduction.
